Exobiology is a piece for saxophone quartet and electronics. Exobiology is an interdisciplinary field of science researching evolution and the future of life in the universe. The first movement is an ode to women who have flown to space. In the other parts saxtronauts for example practice saxyoga and utilize their instruments as radars. In addition to the sounds of saxophones the legendary Buchla-synthesizer is heard. The sounds of Buchla-synthesizer were recorded at Elektronmusikstudion at Stockholm in residency supported by Nordic Culture Point.
